Nearshoring to certain countries can bring economic benefits. Companies in Europe, for example, have had to increase their prices due to the US dollar's unfortunate decline over the last few years. This is also true for several countries nearshoring to the US (e.g. Brazil and Mexico), but there are still other countries that have maintained the same currency rate with the US dollar, despite its decline. For the past several years, Argentina has traded at the exact same rate as the US dollar.
